Rankings

Every sitting member of the House and Senate, ranked by the measure you pick. Ranks count within the chamber filter: #1 in Senate is first among senators. Figures here are the ones each member's own page shows.

Methodology: Party loyalty

The share of party-split votes in the 119th Congress so far (a majority of Democrats one way, a majority of Republicans the other) that a member cast with their party's majority; "Breaks with party" is the number cast against it. Independents are measured against the party they caucus with. A member who changed party is counted by the party they held on each vote day. From Voteview roll calls. Members with fewer than 100 roll calls this Congress (a quarter of the chamber's median early in a Congress, at most 100) are shown but not ranked. Delegates and the resident commissioner don't vote on the floor, so they have no vote rankings.
