Congress finds that— (1) telehealth is expanding access to health care in the United States, particularly in rural and underserved areas; and (2) reauthorizing the authority of the Secretary of Health and Human Services to make grants to State professional licensing boards for the development and implementation of policies to reduce statutory and regulatory barriers to telemedicine will further interstate workforce mobility and reduce administrative barriers to practice medicine across State lines.
Section 330L(b) of the Public Health Service Act ( 42 U.S.C. 254c–18(b) ) is amended by striking fiscal years 2002 through 2006 and inserting fiscal years 2026 through 2031 .
