Timmons Introduces SNAP Fraud Accountability Act to Crack Down on Fraud and Protect Taxpayers

Congressman William Timmons (SC-04) introduced the SNAP Fraud Accountability Act, legislation to strengthen accountability for fraud and abuse in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and protect taxpayer dollars.

“SNAP exists to help Americans who genuinely need assistance putting food on the table, not to provide an opportunity for criminals to steal from taxpayers.”
